people need housing... and this company just buys this house to have their employees sit there 24/7 while waiting for tow truck calls.

2-3 people sitting in the living room, zero furniture but folding chairs and 1 table.

loud AF flatbeds idling in the parking lot.

it's painfully obvious no one is living here now. I want people to LIVE there not just use it as a parking lot and giant storage building.

Depending on the jurisdiction, that could be a zoning violation. I'm not an attorney, though.

yeah I looked.. without digging too deep it's only an issue here is they actually run dispatch instead of just deploy trucks, and 1 person at the house needs to be considered ' living there'

it's just upsetting knowing people can't afford housing, and then these pricks show up

    without digging too deep

Dig deep. In many jurisdictions, investigations are on a by-complaint basis.

If one person "lives" there, that means they have residence, which means they can't be made to leave unless they're evicted. I doubt a company is going to trust any ordinary employee to be in that position.

They may also be in violation of noise ordinances. Some jurisdictions also have ordinances against parking in the grass, which they may also be in violation of.

Report them to the city for illegally operating a business in a residential zone.

What company? Have you checked local laws about operating businesses in your neighborhood?

  • Same with the fucking construction business doing that kinda shit across the street. They park all there shit there as it's always so loud and like I'm in a neighborhood away from businesses. Is it legal. Idk. Do I want them gone. Absolutely.

houses are frequently cheaper than conditioned storage units, if people don't want residential housing being used for everything else they shouldn't have it be so much cheaper.

its already to expensive for regular folks to buy. The problem is there is not enough money in regular folks hands.

yes, not helped by how many (almost) essential services require having an address.

Why can't the government at least require that all government services have to be usable without addresses or email or phones.

there is a program to get a limited phone (in the us). I have said for awhile that we should have gov email addresses that official gov communications should come through but could also use generally (people get bent out of shape but its not like im saying you have to use it outside of gov stuff. they act like im suggesting they can't use whats already available). And we obviously have failed to house everyone so we should at least allow people to get free post office boxes.

I completely disagree with the idea of emal through the government, the government shouldn't be using it i in the first place.
