Heading out to the garden to listen to the Indy Johar interview again. Second time through. The first time I was just experiencing it ... like being at a concert, where you feel it before you can say what it is. This time I want it to land intellectually: break it into pieces, test, and challenge what I think I understood. We'll see if that actually happens. Incredible interview.

In this conversation with Nate Hagens, Indy Johar argues that money is a claim on a future that’s being withdrawn. Climate, food, AI and conflict are now feeding each other in ways no market prices. His message to wealth holders isn’t “be kind” but “be smart” put some of your capital toward financing stability itself, the way you’d buy fire insurance. He also asks what it means to be human once machines can work and think, and points, tentatively, toward consciousness, our ability to know what we don’t know, and courage. Watch it to see the whole system at once, and to swap passive hope for ....agency.
