Do Windows File Manager search.

Call infinite_progress_bar()

It was a shock first time using a search in one of Linux's file managers and suddenly things started popping up that had the search tag in them. What is this magic?

    File transfers on Windows are also inexplicably slower than on Linux

    Windows error reporting tool code leaked:

    showDialog("Your program stopped working. Windows is diagnosing the issue...")

    sendInformation(yourData, toMicrosoft)

    sleep(10)

    showDialog("Windows couldn't find a solution to your problem.")

    It actually checks against the hardcoded list of hashes of programs that have patches and/or quirks in compatibility mode so that it may tell you to enable compatibility mode (plus also sends a report to some ms server which will never answer in a useful manner).

    The network diagnostic tool instead checks if there are any network devices disabled via device manager, and if wifi is on or not. It's meant for people with dementia I am guessing.

    I hate to say it, but I've given up on search and use the copilot button to find things. It's completely retarded, but still superior to that awful search bar.

    I think the enshittification of all search functions is an active part of the plan to push AI

    I believe it. I can't find shit on search engines anymore. For all of the most basic queries, I have to ask an LLM, then yell at it for being wrong until it provides the right answer with a source that did not show up in the search results, no matter how I phrased my query! Before the "AI overview", you used to be able to just type your question into a search engine and the answer would be in one of the top three results every time. But then search engines realized they can make more money by keeping you on their website.

    If I can't find it in a directory myself I dont find it. The search is spherically useless.
