Jensen Huang probably watches this on loop while he masturbates.

Everybody is panicking because of the low births but giving every new married couple an rtx5090 would probably solve it.

    That... Is so fucking sad.

Imagine being a bride at your wedding and the goom, your future hubbie, gets all teary eyed over a piece of hardware. I'd cancel the whole show right then and there, walk out, never look back. Emigrate if I have to.

It's sad that tech companies have manipulated the markets worldwide to the point where a 5090 is a luxury worthy of a wedding.

It's touching to see a married couple happy to support each other's hobbies and interests.

You stay put where you are.

"You don't need to run your A.I. locally. Pay us to supply the A.I. for you! Let us handle your personal data instead. It's safe with us. Promise. What? You want to use that graphics card for gaming?! Well, that's too bad!"

It’s the crying though, it’s a bit pathetic, I’d be punching the air.

Good luck to him though, I’m still running a 2060.

You know what would actually be sad? If you got your son a fucking super expensive gift for his wedding and he barely reacted. It's entirely normal to give gifts at a wedding. That's literally what a registery is for! In fact the entire POINT of a wedding for most of history was to have a ceremony where the two young people would come together and both of their families would shower them in gifts to help them start their life together.

you're getting lambasted in the comments but hyperbole aside, I have to kind of agree. An appropriate repsonse moght be a snail ans a thabk you to the giver befire the next gift. This looks like some weird performative staged nonsense though.

I showed the video to my gf and she said asked, what's a video card and why is he crying over it.

I am guessing though his new wife is well aware going in, she's not #1 on his list.

I hope the Brazilian drug enforcement agency doesn't punish me for smoking weed, but I'm not too concerned cause they're across the world and extra-judicial punishment is frowned upon.

What do you think China is, like seriously. I am curious. Do you seriously think the "evil CCP" is going to see this guy get a gift at his wedding and black bag him? If you ever went to China you'd realize not only is it the safest country on Earth, but the police there are very nice, and understanding. People are treated with dignity. Even if you break the law they take your character and circumstances into account. There's a reason the government has such high approval ratings there. It's a common thing there for people to not be worried about issues such as AI because they say, "Well the government won't let anything bad happen." They fully trust that to be true. Because the track record is so good.

No I was actually worried about the USA throwing a fit, black bag him here if we visits. I have no faith in the current leadership and I feel like they mean most people harm.

Oh okay. I just assumed you were a like rabidly anti-China person sorry. I don't think the US would care much about the person getting the GPU tho. They'd more go after the smugglers themselves. Maybe they'd ask him some questions about where it came from but he didn't do the smuggling so can't get him for that. And I imagine China would have something to say about one of their citizens being arrested in the US on a charge like "owning a GPU". So he'd probably be fine.

then what are all those cameras for?

Because America doesn't have any security cameras right?

Why is winnie the pooh bad?

This is entirely unserious liberal nonsense. You cannot win arguements on policy or outcome so you create these made up things to be mad about.

why can’t I talk about Tiananmen Square?

Not only can you talk about it you can go there. Since you are referring to "The Tiananmen Square Massacre" I would challenge you to actually learn about it.

The comma. Both separators just switch their roles:

    12.000 - twelve thousand

13,12€ - thirteen euro and twelve cents

More info here, including a fancy map further down, which shows which separators are used where.

The $ symbol specifically means dollars. Some countries place a letter or other symbol next to it for their currency, specially if their currency is also called dollar, but when it's by itself, it's usually US dollars
