Pizza is stupid cheap to make at home. Domino's is currently offering Minecraft pizzas that are less than twice the size for more than twice the cost. But making it at home means no grease soaked collectable box.

Cost per person before toppings: $2.77 It is very hard to fit even a dollar worth of toppings on a pizza.

I need to try this again. Every now and then I get pre-made dough from Aldi and do a stromboli with their Italian trio (genoa salami, provolone cheese, and pepperoni) and some extra mozzarella. We've talked about doing a pizza with Aldi dough, but we've never actually done it. I brought home a take out pizza from a local restaurant today, so it's pizza night for us, too.

    Dough from Aldi, Safeway, or Trader Joe's works fine. Just put it in a mixing bowl, add a spoonful of olive oil, toss, cover with plastic wrap and let sit on the counter about 2 -4 hours before you want to use it. Makes a difference.
