I'm not sure I would qualify what you're talking about as "cucking" simply BECAUSE of the negative connotations that word has. I would think that terms like open relationship, or group sex, or swinging, are better descriptors for what you describe. But "cucking" has connotations of nonconsent, a party that MUST not participate, and of humiliation.

Nah cuckold fetish is consensual and it's included with the dudes getting cheated on.

You can repeat that all you want, but it's not how most people use it

People use the term cuck as an insult to insinuate that they have no power in their relationship and their partner forces them to watch them fuck someone else.

It may not be the actual definition, but that's the definition the masses have given it. Language changes and words and phrases can even have multiple valid definitions. A famous one would be cunt, in which the usage of the word greatly changes it's definition.

Yeah, I'm polyamorous and it's definitely not cucking. I've long been open to being a bull for another sapphic couple, but my wife and I's nonmonogamy is important to us, but emotionally neutral. By contrast, cucking is a form of humiliation play, and I just don't feel any of that when my wife is sleeping with someone else

That said, while to some people cucking has nonconsent implications, for the people into the kink it's consensual but playing with humiliation, jealousy, etc. In some ways it's often a consensual nonconsent version of being cheated on.
