I think you are misremembering. I triple checked and there is nothing in the German Manual for rear door release in a 2020 Model 3.

Here is a German YouTuber showing how you can make your Tesla safer by adding a pull to the hidden door release.

    I've been planning to go down to the basement where the car lives to check, but haven't been that way yet. I'll let you know. I guess it's possible that I just assumed the back would be like the front because why the fuck wouldn't it be. But then again, Elon.
