Due to the nature of the IQ, at any point in time, whether people are getting smarter or dumber, children of any parents will "tend to have average levels of IQ".

    By design, the IQ test is self averaging, with 100 being the "average intelligence".

    ...so if Im understanding this correctly , youre saying that even when the average intelligence of humanity decreases an IQ of 100 will always be the average since humanity will always put in effort to decrease the amount of cognition capabilities to get an IQ score below or above 100? Or am I wrong in what Im thinking?
