Which is why it's a shame to see you fight each other as if that isn't the case.

I would wholeheartedly recommend reading How To Win Friends And Influence People (or at least this summary). Especially if you're trying to convince people to vote in the midterms.

Elmo (people discussing US midterms here) choosing between fruits (trying to understand before making their point) and cocaine (infighting and proving each other wrong at all cost).

Voting in Ds also enables Rs, and we have no shortage of examples.

Trying to explain to someone with zero imagination and the moral framework of a 12 year old reading YA novels that in fact the Democrats have been collaborating with the Republicans for many many decades in the maintenance of the empire, the racialized mass incarceration, the slave labor, the killing of pregnant mothers around the world via sanctions, the destruction of the planet, the protection of the worst criminals in the history of the world, and continuous genocide and mass murder.

    Yes, so focus on voting out those Democrats and replace them with good ones. I was told earlier today by someone that the alternative is organizing some vague revolution. I can tell you the easier path is to take over the Democratic party.

    The DNC has rigged the process so badly that makes their very name, Democratic, lauaghable.

    We don't need a revolution to just let the system collapse upon the weight of its own corruption. You're just making accelerationism the best option. It doesn't have to be this way. You did this.

    I mean, are you under some sort of uninformed impression that any 3rd party can win a federal election?

    The most popular 3rd party candidate in 2024 received 0.5% of the total votes cast. To be clear, that's a really, really, really small percentage and proves that in no way can a 3rd party win a federal election.

    So your country and, therefore, your life, will be controlled by Democrats or Republicans. Now, take a real good look around you and figure out which one you prefer.

    They are literally collaborators. I wish people would stop assuming that Democrats are somehow different from the system that they created. Trump is using policies created by Obama/Biden. Biden/Harris had the Epstein Files in full and chose to do nothing to stop Trump. Clinton deregulated the financial system which directly caused the criminal behavior that crash the global economy and Obama gave all the money to the banks and no one experienced any consequences. Obama presided over the largest expansion of fossil fuels in history. Corporate profits are highest under Democrat regimes.

    Stop telling me I'm wrong for rejecting the Good Cop's mask. Stop telling me I'm immoral for not voting for the "obvious good guy" in the puppet show. The puppet show has characters that wear red and blue so that it's easy for the audience to understand who to cheer for and who to boo for, but the puppet show is run by ONE system and the puppets are part of that system and the SYSTEM is the thing that is harming us. Not the Red Shirts, not the Blue Shirts, not the Good Cop, not the Bad Cop.

    Why are you demanding that I stand here and pledge my allegiance to the fascists with the masks on?
