That's an interesting take I hadn't thought of. It's a shame he didn't elaborate so we can only speculate.

    It's not a mystery, McCain was big into civility. We can intuit his meaning here, instead of picking the words apart

    Some people just can't take an admission that they're probably right without twisting the knife.

    It isn't about who's right, it's about learning. Once you decide you don't need to, the rest of us will be better off with you dead

    Your block means nothing to me. A heartfelt expression of an emotion, any emotion, might move me
