Oh look, another account posting an image to create a narrative in political memes. Totally not the works of companies like Cambridge Analytica. WTF is wrong with Lemmy today!

So the story is that Iran, who make gajazillions from oil exports, are going to send a militant to kill a few people for the sake of well, nothing. Also, aeroplane fuel is hot enough to melt steel.

    I didn’t post it to convince sane people that Iranian sleeper cells are going to pose as ICE. I posted it to share with other competent people on the left who are aware this nonsense may convince MAGA that the ICE gestapo’s anonymity is a liability. They’re the ones who actually believe the Bush/Trump fearmongering.

    And it’s spelled “steel.”

    I don’t touch Meta. I was hoping to share it with enough people here that we can spread it on more MAGA heavy platforms. I’m sorry the point of this was lost on you, but many others see value in the idea according to the other comments. I can assure you, had I primarily received a response of people thinking I’m fearmongering, I’d have already deleted it.

    If I were actually convincing people that Iranian-Americans were a threat, I’d take it down. More Islamophobia is the last thing the world needs right now. I could care less about being embarrassed. Lol

    The same point was posted before the "ceasefire" to do exactly what you're doing now. If you want MAGA to 'realise' go post the shit wherever those people go. This narrative was posted exactly to manipulate lemmy audiences who already have a hatred towards ICE.
