That too, just the fact that he said go for it instead of pulling every stunt possible to hide things is a fine start for me. As I recall it the impeachment was officially for lying about it to congress, but they would have taken any reason to cast stones at the guy.

Fun fact, despite the GOP claiming to be that party of fiscal responsibility, Clinton was the last president to actually have a balanced budget. Add in now that they're trying to use Clinton as a scapegoat while claiming 'part of morality' while the guy in office has been accused multiple times, caught on tape 'grab em by', and those are even before the current files.

It's almost like they've been talking out their ass for decades.

If there is any evidence the only chance he has to go down with a little less shit on his persona is by owning up and being that sacrifice.

But yeah, I have kinda always felt like he was an easy “you know this guy was in on it” target because of the BJ

It could also be that he doesn't think it will actually be released and is playing the odds.

Who would be so charitable and risk last years with the stress and ruined legacy just to attack someone who did the same thing.

The fact that all trump published was just pictures from public events that were already known (one (where there also was Michael Jackson) wasn't even related to Epstein) tells me there's not much on Clinton there, because if there was I'm sure he would release something fat at this point.

To be fair, Lewinsky has come around to saying the power imbalance was too high for her to have meaningfully consented, and I've been thinking that since I was a kid in the 90s. But yeah, she was in her early 20s, still young but not a child

If there was something powerful on Clinton, why didn’t he released it?

It could also be that Trump is likely to face the same punishment Bubba does. If they hang Bubba in a public execution for diddling kids, meanwhile Trump knows he's in the same files doing the same thing, well...

Seems the least likely though, because they typically don't have that much foresight.

Let me repeat that in case the people in the back didn't catch it. The people currently running our country don't have the foresight to act two steps ahead.

We are on the same page here. Anyone involved in this is corrupted or in unlikely case they aren't, there's plenty of material to corrupt them.

Even if we ignore (yeah I know) the horrible crimes against those kids, those people never represent interests of the people, because with such blackmail material they will belong to whomever has it.

It doesn't matter what party they are. This is another big reason why I support releasing all files and don't have problem with "sacrificing" Democrats if there any.

And even if it turns out he didn’t assault any minors himself, he was still at the place where those assaults were happening, and I can’t imagine how anyone could have been there and not known about it. So, he’s still guilty of plenty regardless of if he ever laid a hand on a child or not.
