Splatoon 3 is peer-to-peer. Servers only handle matchmaking.

It's possible Raiders brought in an influx of casual players with worse connections than the average regular?

After you throw it, each team member can grab a soda by going near it. For some time, a soda grants improved movement and weapons, and instant respawn if you die. It also gives away your location so ninjas might not always grab it

VUnder is one of my favorite kits (no surprise). I have it at 5 stars, and I've definitely had the same experience there. If anything, it's harder without dodge roll (though I usually die before the stun ends anyway)

Hell, if they replaced the stun with a 5 second speed boost, that alone would make it worthwhile to use. As it is, I only really use it when backlining

I played VUnder to 10 stars. Reefslider sometimes feels like the most powerful special while simultaneously being the most useless special.

My fix proposal: Let the user jump off the Reefslider early. The tradeoff would be they can't control where to explode, but this would solve the problem where the player just gets camped after using it.

My guess is you're running into problems with 1) a weapon's series power or 2) the rotation + time of day.

I can readily find matches at anywhere from 1500-2100, but I have heard complaints from a top level player that they got too high a power on undercover and stopped being able to reasonably matchmake.

Other more likely issue is picking rotations people aren't playing. I run into this with X rank as well - bluefin/mincemeat clams will not get as many people queuing as say mako/mahi zones.

Try to play at afternoon/evening times in your region and maybe try swapping weapons?

I never read any tutorials on how to use it so I can't recommend any :/

Since I am mostly importing SVG into the program, I don't actually need to deal with creating any layers in Synfig. Here are the basics:

    1. Drag the play head to a frame where you want things to change
    2. Turn on animation mode (main canvas bottom right)
    3. Set the interpolation (next to animation mode button). Ease is often a good one
    4. Select a layer to edit (you can select multiple)
    5. Drag the nodes around to move them
    6. Congrats! You just animated those node from frame 0 to wherever your play head is on!

Do keep in mind about some bugs while important Inkscape SVGs:

    • If you copied some objects from 1 Inkscape file to another, your gradients are likely broken
    • Clipping doesn't work out of the box. Duplicate the lower layer, group it with the higher layer, set the higher layer's composite method to "Straight Onto"

There are a lot more small problems above those.
