Still working on Keroro RPG: Kishi to Musha to Densetsu no Kaizoku. Aiming to finish my first JRPG before I take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N3 next month.

While a much larger reform and/or constitutional amendment is probably necessary, I think the most reasonable short-term compromise I'd pitch would be one new seat per presidential term. That's a gradual enough expansion to avoid any accusations of trying to pack the courts all at once while one party has control.

Fuck the Democratic establishment, especially Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries. I don't trust them any further than I can throw them.

But the voters are what's giving me a little bit of hope for the future. The fact that so many solidly red states and districts could flip is seriously huge. It's a sign that the winds of change are blowing in the right direction.

Nintendo is nowhere near the worst thing in the video game industry right now. Not saying I agree with everything they do, but compared to pretty much every other AAA? Their games actually feel like complete products on day 1, they don't fire half their employees as soon as a game releases, they don't try to get kids hooked on gambling, and they don't fund genocide.

Usually no, but it depends on the game. If there are a lot of unlocks to grind and I just want to play the damn game, I may just hit Unlock All. Or if I've beaten the game normally and cheat let me explore funny sandbox things, I'll fiddle with those.

That's increasingly rare with modern games anyway though.

A rising tide lifts all ships. A larger userbase doesn't just mean "normies", it means a wider variety of demographics, fandoms, and views.

And that in turn means that somewhere in the large userbase will be more people who match my freak. The main thing I used Reddit for was niche hobbies and fandoms, but over here I suspect I might be the only person on this platform who's into my specific hyperfixations. If the userbase was large enough, there might be a chance to try and establish communities for some of those things.

But perhaps most importantly, I want this place to grow to prove that alternatives to the corporate social media platforms can succeed. And in order to do that, we do need "normies", we need to pull them away from those corporate platforms.
