you can't tax me if you're a figment of my imagination.
Man. What a great fireworks those things would make, in Minecraft ofc.
∗taxes you∗
last time I did terrorism it was just handing out curry burritos.
well I guess every self identified lib I ever met was lying.
we need to make sure they suffer too. their children need to die and they need to be human centipeded.
no, solipsism is the only truth. there is no other.
is mutual aid real chat?
Institutional investors, especially retirement funds, own too much anyway. Good riddance.
Capitalism is ridiculous. It should not be legal to sell debt.
Invested.inc is repeating the highlights from a report by the Open Markets Institute. OMI has a policy agenda. They want more regulation and better protection for those of us most likely to suffer in an economic collapse, instead of financial shenanigans where billionaires offload their debts onto regular people so they don't loose in a collapse. The report is persuasive, but heavily sourced and rigorous. One of the strongest parts is where they point out that regulators are simultaneously reducing financial transparency, weakening bank capital requirements, and opening retirement accounts to opaque private credit while the risks of doing so continue to increase. So, yeah, the parasite class is engineering the finances so that we are the ones who suffer in the next collapse.
they were, until they started realizing their new non-European immigrants were also receiving assistance, and then most of the Nordic nations seem to have kinda lost their minds.
"It's the only system that works" until you open a book and read
This thing can improve the system so I support it
personally I don't see the problem. its very warm and everyone around me is full of passionate intensity and cool friends with lots of colors of horsies are visiting!
the point is good costs the same as perfect. not taking perfect seems stupid, and being unwilling to aim for perfect means you'll never get good.
if you want radical change for the better you need to take radical action.
if you want moderate change for the better you need to take radical action. they cost the same. why only take a little?
Don't let perfect be the enemy of good
What if we just took a little nibble?
Can't blame the Nordics for not wanting to become the next Ukraine or Hungary at the time.
Yes, but it's still a compromise that lets rich people keep their wealth and exploit the working class.
It's better than a capitalist dystopia, but eating the rich would be even better.
Aren't people happy with it though?
uh...
