Well, it's way nearer as you think, Chinese bots don't use an fixed program, they learn from one time by from human showed tasks or movements and can ajust it to the conditions using it's inbuild AI. There are several companies in a hard competition, not only in China, but also in the EU (more centred in service tasks) and naturally also the US. Current robotic is very advanced (IMHO too much)

Which US misil range do you mean? They only imposed limits of range and amount to others. Apart with more than 80 miltary bases in the whole world they can reach everyone they want. The world is sized by the US military.

Yes, it was already since big corps also released OprnSource, even more if also released AI made OpenSource or used LLM in coding.

    Maybe some surprises:

But always downvoting and even insulting me, when I say that nowadays OpenSource is guarantee of nothing anymore. OpenSource, same as proprietary apps, always with a grain of salt, it depends always of the author and his intentions and ethics respect the user, not on the license the product has.

If you copy an content from others sharing it as own work, they fry you with copyright claims. if am AI do it it's ok, because big corps want it this way. Means, no fuck AI, fuck big greedy corps.

I know, but the problem of Google isn't the index, the biggest out there, the problem is the SEO crap and the handling of it by logging your searches and showing the results by it (filter bubble), Google show you what you want to see, not what really is fact. Startpage, Whoogle and others use the Google index, but without all this crap, AI and filters.

The inbuild adblocker of the Vivaldi browser also do it, skipping the cookie advices with the selected (deselected) cookies (I don't care about Cookies and Easy list Cookie list filters), also by the settings in web page permissions.

Apart also by the filters of the Portmaster app which avoid that there enter any unwanted crap in the system.

I'm fien with Murena Workspace (France) and Filen (Germany) for Cloud, both OpenSource. I don't use VPN, only Cyberghost Proxy extension to skip country restrictions, maybe the SPN (multichannel VPN) of the Portmaster app, if needed one day

You can use MetaGer, Ecosia, Startpage, Mojeek, Qwant, specific page searches..... or all of these. if you want a deeper research. After more than a quarter of century I've anyway half the internet in my bookmarks and only use the websearch in few occasions, or for security checks of unknown URLs.

Cheaper? BS, the RAM of your PC cost cents to make. If you have the RAM online, you'll pay for every minute using it + your ISP for the bandwith, and they can leave you with an paperweight instead of an PC at any moment they want. Wrong, not even an PC, it's only a data terminal you own and pay for, less as an smart TV. Centralizing Internet even more in the hands of few billonair pedo-assholes and their AIs, with Datacenters in former Woods (see those in Finnland by Google), what can go wrong?
