I am sorry, to enroll a primary maintainers need to open a Pull Request with a Yaml file containing their email address?

And people do that? Here is an example PR: https://github.com/anthropics/oss-scanner/pull/139/changes

Did Anthropic just created a largest ever publicly available collection of email addresses of primary maintainers of OSS projects matching this criteria

established projects that have a critical impact on infrastructure and user security

(Quote from Anthropic)

Is it an invitation for every bad actor to scrape pull requests of this single repo, extract email addresses and target those with every fishing/hacking/account takeover attack imaginable?

Is not that insane?

I think it would be fun and not break it too much to allow the hero to take one non-class-specific item with them into the vault. That would take the start of the vault to be less deadly and make the run depend a bit less on the randomness in the room layout.

The catch is that the player would still be able to take just a single item out of the vault. So taking something into the vault likely means leaving it there in exchange for something better. And if not leaving it, it means taking nothing as a reward for the quest. Except for last shop, which is kind of a reward.

I think it fits the lore of the quest - the teleport to the vault magic is limited in the amount of things it can transfer between the vault and the regular dungeon. It just means the limitation is the same on the way in as it is on the way out.

I only succeeded in this quest about four times so far. And failed three times. It is quite deadly indeed. There was one run when I had good luck before that quest and had all the equipment I could've needed. That time I could've taken my +7 plate armor of thorns with me for a quick win and would've took it back out with me. Just to have the last shop unlocked.

And it does not require any new UI - the "select a single item to take with you" UI is done already for the teleport back.

I was able to complete the quest today with a Huntress. Not sure I like the new quest at all, but at least it is doable. It seems to be a lot more luck-based than the other ones. This time I got a +2 weapon in the next room and a +3 plate armor a couple of rooms over. This is a lot more useful than the typical assorted seeds and potions I was getting on the previous runs.

Do you mind sharing any tips on playing it? I have not been able to make any progress in it. I tried it 3 times for now, and every time there was a fire elemental or similar ranged enemy in the first room that latches to my hero and it is an immediate game over with zero equipment.

One thing that really gets me is comparing robotaxis with regular driving. How about comparing robotaxis to... taxis? Would not that be much more sane?

Professional taxi drivers do get into accidents. But their per-distance metric is much better than of an average Joe driving home after 10 hours work shift and a one-too-many pint after work.

Why anyone would ever compare robotaxi to anything else but a regular taxi?

A former colleague of mine started a farm 5 years ago. He wrote a few apps to help him with the process and even launched one to help reach customers directly.

I do not use iOS devices and could not take a look, but if you are curious, here is the app page: https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/arivon/id6742965675

And here is his LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/in/karunanithi-ranganadhan-65a60028/

More than a decade of programming. Few years of farming. I am wishing him success - as I might be asking for a framing job from him if this trend continues...

I think you are correct at the main point:

you’re not considering how tech-savvy the average person is

I am actually having hard time understanding where all of that hype is coming from. The first time I've seen AI solve a problem better than a human was back in 1996. I have used various generations of AI tools ever since. LLMs are fun, but it is not like they are that much different from the other AI tools before them. Every time a new AI technology comes around I am finding a use case for it in my own flow. LLMs have their uses as well. But I am not trying to solve ALL the problems with the new tech.

I do not understand "the average person". And I guess I never will.
