Kind of weird how people claim to love democracy but want to overturn the will of its voters when its something they disagree with.

Funny enough this one passing really goes to show how stupid most voters seem to be in WA now.

They literally want to overturn one law they voted for years ago and they want to have a state supreme court who have all agreed that the incoming millionaire tax can go ahead even if it breaks the states constitution.

The state Dems need some real DSA competition because at this point it's all pointing towards corporatacy with a veiled control of an oligarchy.

I would ask our WA incumbents to reveal their minutes behind closed doors with lobbyists and full financial disclosures to be reviewed by a non political backed watchdog but the very same court we just voted in said "go pound cold wet sand"

It was until money got involved.

At least here in WA state initiatives can be brought up with fake signatures (thanks to money).

Then on the other end of the spectrum they can be ignored/shutdown by the courts (also thanks to money).

And if anyone thinks none of this is about money just look at who is paying for the ads on the initiatives and the reelection campaigns of current judges.

WA state probably has the best example of a wannabe democracy controlled by a super majority of Democrats who are actually backed by corporations and the Epstein-billionaire class that have done a great job of dividing groups and having them fight over identity politics... Maybe next to CA.

...and for anyone thinking I'm MAGA or some BS check my godamn history and stfu.

FYI if anyone was curious this "collaboration" is actually just his way for muddying the waters between Tesla (who is hemorrhaging money) and SpaceX (who is propped up by Gov Contracts thanks to his political connections) and Xhitter (a way to avoid political campaign contributions tracking).

The dude knows Trump is losing power and his money can only keep him out of trouble so much and he fucked up mixing money/resources between companies.

Literally going to be another Elizabeth Holmes.

This feels like an asshole move. Instead of providing a central location for tracking, encouraging open sourcing and continued development the dude just threw his hands up in the air and said "I give up".

Like yeah, the AI usage sucks and those versions are buggy as hell but at least it's a start for some games and people can continue the work to improve it.

But now without easy tracking every script kiddy and vibecoder are just going to assume they are the first and make another project somewhere then repeat the same work that has already been done.

I get that life happens or people move on from a project but damn dude, let someone else takeover or GTFO of the way.

Well like you said. There are more guns. So why haven't Dems put forward more laws to encourage gun lockers, safes, safe public storage locations and more laws to criminalize reckless storage, actually enforce those? More encouragement and incentives for training, education that doesn't cost $300+

Keep in mind the states on the West Coast have been heavily controlled by Dems for years now, so why not move forward instead of stuck in the ideals of banning firearms? Why move forward with the stereotype of taking away firearms?

Seems to only embolden and encourage more firearm purchases if you ask anyone with a brain.
