oh silly you. of course not. we need to do the opposite according to these people. We have to make it so only THEY can have the tech. Dont you know normies like us cannot be allowed to wield such power? We should trust 2 or 3 companies to wholly own what they claim to be the most powerful, dangerous and transformative tech in the history of mankind...

Its clear that they see AI being the backbone of literally EVERYTHING we do from making movies to making weapons of war. Its the equivalent of electricity in this case. They want to solely own what they see as the fundamental building blocks of almost everything in the future...

I have a headache

This is what happens when CEOs or any of these idiots are detached from reality for too long. Who is hanging out at the gas station? At most you go in to grab a pack of gum or cigarettes or something. I honestly feel like the only job of CEOs these days is to gaslight the public and convince them that the things they say are true, when every normal person clearly knows its false.

From 'everyone loves to chill at the gas station' to 'people should love data centers in their yard because it brings jobs'.

Look I know the 'elites' think normies are idiots, and there are plenty... but its really getting old now

Its so amazing that we had so many routes to make things better and better. Technology promised such an amazing future. Of course, greed ruined that and here we are. We fumbled the bag people...

This is horrible... but also somehow even more sad that I would have totally expected this. Trying to go cross country on rollerblades in the US is akin to entering a warzone with a target on your back. This country is not friendly to non-car commuters. I live in a dense suburb with some bikelanes and its bad enough, so I cannot imagine what its like in places with huge stroads and highways running through town. You can barely cross a street let alone travel on rollerblades or bikes...

Seriously... name any service that you would trust a man this age and in this condition to perform for you besides helping you find a book at your local library (and even that is a stretch). We have a terribly broken political system.

I honestly never thought I would be so bothered by whats going on with Canada, but it really saddens me. I honestly always felt like Canada was a friendlier extension of the US in many ways. How in the fuck can you alienate such an important strategic and cultural ally? I just hope that Canadians realize the MAJORITY of Americans value our relationship...
