ELI5: What's a critical minerals project entail?
Nice! Welcome.
Hrm recent tool experiences. A friend got me a new pruning saw. Dang that thing's sharp!
Some cycling specific tools (and parts) on the way to help rebuild my old mtb.
Storage is what's killin me currently. New garage and nothing's set up nicely yet. Carp everywhere
So cool! Love seeing their bikes pop up on my feed. Enjoy!
Pretty much a girder fork, which is a very early form of motorcycle front suspension. Pre-dated telescopic forks i believe. I reckon they look awesome.
Rad! I had the same thing happen in covid times. I went for a slightly more powerful motor 😂 and thus began my coffee machine modification phase. I call it a 'sleeper' coffee machine because it looks like a cheap turd, but drives alright.
I'm not saying this is fair, or accounts for the full amount. But there are things like R&D tax kickbacks companies can get, which are designed to incentivise companies to do R&D in Australia. There are probably other kickback incentives. Now, do I think these companies could (or should be able to) legitimately tally up these kickbacks to net a nil tax bill - no, probably not. But I'm not even close to an expert
There's a masked lapwing wing near me that has found the perfect nesting spot in the middle of an electrical sub-station. The chick is very cute - fluff ball on legs.
Sisters dog ate compost and got ill on Christmas day. We were at a beach holiday house and had to drive 1.5 hrs to the nearest vet. That was not a cheap day for them 😅
Well said. I didn't really get why shots had to be fired in any direction here. Just highlight/celebrate the cool subculture and it's differences.
To accommodate a Yukka... i guess the alternative was that it would grow straight through the roof 😆
Yes, massive gum tree in the neighbours yard. There are a few hollows and a big nest at the top. Been meaning to stake out the hollows with a camera.
The suburb I'm in is very leafy and the council is protective of significant narive trees luckily.
