article: "anthropic monitors threats to physical data centers" thread: "this is unhinged corporate paranoia!" you: "let's target their data centers" congrats on single-handedly justifying their entire security budget in one sentence lmao, some threat analyst at anthropic is literally copy-pasting this into a slide deck right now

guy literally told the bot he bought an AR-15 to murder the CEO and you guys are in here screaming about "pre-crime swatting" lmfao be serious for once hate anthropic all you want (dario is a pretentious weirdo, fully agree) but holy shit the cope in these threads. "nobody even uses LLMs"? literally every dev and sysadmin i know is quietly using this stuff every single day to cut hours of boilerplate out of their workflow. stay mad at closed source, fine. fight for open weights, absolutely. but pretending the tech itself is just a useless scam while the rest of the world is using it to run circles around us is just... enjoy getting left behind i guess

My big concern is ad based malware, cache poisoning attacks, etc. I always use Firefox with ublock or Brave at min on those sites. Ironically we'll probably kill all the free ones doing it but maybe for the best they go away anyhow. Mostly stolen content and non-consensual uploads. Anyone who hangs just in Pornhub is a total normie at this point so I ain't even talking about Pornhub here. 🀣

I stripped danced for someone who I wasn't sure of their identity online to Ariana Grande's Into You even tho I am a fat guy. I think its hilarious. I told all my friends about my "risky" performance art. I think the rule should be based on what you are willing to defend if literally everyone can and does see it. I'm unusual in that as long as it isn't illegal or morally repulsive in my moral philosophy then I will defend it to my grave. However, that doesn't mean it's always convenient. If Trump's thought taught me one thing though is you should take responsibility for truly bad things you've done, which Trump doesn't do, but he taught me that shamelessness works. So, if there are Nazis in the government, throwing people in fucking cages, concentration camps, then shit. If me dancing to an Ariana Grande song, stripping my clothes off, acting ridiculous, as a fat guy jiggling around, offends somebody, they can politely fuck off.

Anyway now I have a GF that adores me and likes my weird. 🀣

Share weird things with friends, and if they don't like it, maybe they weren't a friend that was fit for you. If you chat with hosted AI system just know you might end up with more "friends" looking at it than all the actual friends you know. Haha best to keep in mind.

Also shout out to John Waters and Pink Flamingos and Divine. Filth is my life. Filth are my politics.

Yeah, this is where I would say someone definitely shouldn't share that information because it doesn't have to be scanned through, it doesn't have to be broken into, stolen or anything. It just has to be the court provides a subpoena for the data and they get it. And it becomes evidence. And possibly a confession in writing πŸ˜…

FBI guy that stole all that money figured that out. After he was caught they got his chat logs and it detailed criminal conspiracy to move to Portugal with all the money he stole. The crazy part to me is he was supposedly counterintelligence which... πŸ’©

Also, you could argue it's unethical spider abuse, which is the point that I'd be more concerned of even though I don't want one in my mouth. For $100,000, I'd do almost anything that didn't hurt a creature or a human, even if it hurt myself as long as it wasn't a permanent, you know, lasting thing. Anyway, yeah, for $100 an hour, I'd totally take it up the ass because I've taken it up the ass metaphorically for a lot less. But I don't know, my price for putting a spider in my mouth is probably a little bit on the higher side.

Also, Joe Rogan has become a fool. I mean, I guess he was always a fool, but at least a fool that had a little bit of humility. And as others have pointed out, he had genuinely great guests on a lot. And he wouldn't just say the dumbest thing and run with it and not let them say something smart. But now he doesn't even have those people on. So he's just getting the dumbest takes usually. Sometimes his friends even have to point it out to him.

ChatGPT - Prompt Here's a fun one. Please make this supposedly real sign that was AI-generated of a burrito look like an actual tasty burrito instead of something out of a horror movie.

So my real question becomes who the hell looked at that generated image and thought we should put that on a sign for real and people will buy our food. 🀣🀣🀣
