applesmc is very old, and all of its code is lumped into one driver. Fan control, sensors, the light sensor, the motion sensor and the keyboard backlight in a single file with its own way of talking to the SMC. It is hard to extend and to support new machines.

This series adds Intel Mac support to the macsmc drivers that were written for Apple Silicon (the Asahi implementation). The SMC works the same way on both platforms, so we share a lot of code with Asahi. Only the way of talking to the SMC differs.

You'll need multiple services. I use Bitwarden and Addy and pay for both. Addy can be integrated into Bitwarden, and Bitwarden has notes and passkey support. Both have extensions and apps that work well.

Per your requirements I would not use SimpleLogin because IIRC they limit number of addresses where Addy limits bandwidth and has unlimited addresses.

Maybe check out 1Password. I have never used them but I have heard great things. Not sure about Addy integration though.

And for anyone who wants to respond to me to hate on Bitwarden for their recent private equity sale, I challenge you to come up with a better option that you don't need to host yourself, excluding 1Pass as I have already mentioned it.

And yes, it does make more rice

The largeness of the stalk allows for significantly more rice grains to ripen in each panicle than usual, serving to multiply the total yield obtained from the area.

I reluctantly have to disagree, at least for the US. I've been in a Tesla and used "Full Self-Driving", and I never touched the steering wheel nor the pedals. It fully drove itself and handled difficult situations better than some drivers would have.

Now this was in a non-city in the US, so the roads were very standard and there weren't many pedestrians except for in a parking lot. In a busy city with different kinds of streets, it may perform worse.

To manage containers I use Arcane, which I can access from anywhere. Let's me create, update, delete, basically anything Podman can do.

For other stuff I still just SSH. I have up set up that I can do it remotely (with an extra security step), but I don't need to do it very often.

Worth noting that some security stuff is automated, eg non-breaking updates on the OS and log monitoring.

Someone else can likely give more details, but it's their "page hit" according to the website distrowatch.com.

I assume it's based on how many people view that distro's page in-site, but maybe they have something more going on, idk
