The climate here where I live in the US southwest coupled with my driving habits means I'd have to charge maybe once a year. Would like to see these with sodium ion batteries though, at least for the smaller ranges.

If I traveled a lot I feel like I could be swayed by a machine with that kind of range too. I agree they look strange, but I fall into the function/form camp, especially when it comes to vehicles.
