Good reviews, but a little divisive. Some are saying it's a perfect game, and others say it's serviceable.

Reviews are good, but slightly mixed. I see as high as 9.5 and as low as 7.7

This has been a highly anticipated game and had a pretty positive Early Access. Strangely I can't find any reviews, but I would chalk that up to a lack of media-savvy rather than hiding from the press.

Seems like he's perfected his style. If you haven't played Crypt Custodian or Islets, I recommend them. They're not as long or as challenging as some others, but people fall in love with Kyle's point of view.

You're not wrong, but it's been almost a decade of a-little-too-heavy-inspired by metroidvanias of Hollow Knight's style and mechanics. It's wild how influential those 2 games are and how much devs struggle to break free of it. That said, I still love a lot of these games.

Same with me on Grime 1.

In my opinion, avoid “MÍO: Memories in Orbit” if you’re not a fan of platforming. I had to avoid some pretty big areas of that game for how seriously hard some of the platforming challenges were.

The first Grime was 2021, so 3 years prior to PoP. But playing both, they play very differently and didn’t feel visually similar. I can see what you’re saying in the lighting and shaders.

There are demos for both Grime games, so it could be a good way to get a feel for them
