To be used in omega 3 supplements and fish farming. At the same time one can cut both by using omega 3 DHA & EPA supplements based on algae. Doing it for 7 years now. Also the less krill, the less whales and the less whales, the less flourishing ocean eco systems, because of the whale poop loop and whale falls.

Which games couldn't you play from GOG? Heroic does its job very reliably for me. Basically eveything I throw at it runs. Witcher 3 (even the new remastered Version), Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Baldurs Gate 1, Arx Fatalis, System Shock 2, Syndicate, old Ultima classics (like e.g. Underworld) etc. Even modern games from Epic seem to pose no problem. Achievements get synced to the GOG cloud usually. Only thing I am unsure is which games sync their savegames to the cloud. So I back up all the savestates regularly.

Using it for years now on my VPS with rootless podman containers and steam game servers. The hardware is moderately dimensioned but it performs very well and is extremely reliable. Never had a borked OS upgrade. Is there any reason you'd advise against it?

Freedom of speech, press, media and free elections are all constantly threatened under autocratic, dictatorial and conservative governments. We've seen enough striking examples in recent times. Trump, Orban, Bolsonaro, Vučić, Putin, Milei, Maduro etc. Those certainly are working on or tried to abolish said institutions even by trying insurrections (Bolsonaro, Trump). Yes, you're correct by stating that a democracy is not automatically just but I'd always choose the candidate/party that upholds democratic values. Better for the environment and lower and middle class people. Not regarding the bad politics Biden gov had in some regards, they were unquestionably and immeasurably better for the common people, poor people around the world (see USAID), the world economy and the environment than those of the orange menace.

And yes the Ukraine had/has a Nazi problem, but so does about every other democracy. Why should we shun all people of a country because of a minority of idiots?

IDK. Defender had a good reputation when I still was on Windows, 8 years ago. It was non-intrusive and didn't slow down the OS like other AV solutions. One good experience I had was when I dragged a zipped e-mail attachment to the desktop out of interest and Defender immediately quarantined it. Don't understand the MS lingo in the text you quoted but yeah everything mentioning 365 sounds like a PITA. So maybe it's BS now.

Don't need to apply it. It has got stackable filters now. Individually editable and hideable. Works fine with text. So just confirms my theory that all the haters haven't touched it recently. Just like with Linux (they generally don't distinguish between distributions ofc), when people claim you need the console for everything while you mostly don't need it at all.

It's so intimidating how fast Primagen is with Vim. Wish I had the time and his stamina to learn a fraction of what he does with motions. He once said he kinda cringes when he has to watch people using a regular IDE.

Anyways. Vim nerds may despise this but I'd never would try to tailor my own Neovim config. I straight up started with LazyVim. Still not free from confusing elements but after I jotted down all my most needed motions and used them over and over, it is approximately usable. Still fuck up some motions and end up with gibberish, still faster with a regular IDE, but I now would know my way around Vim, if no other editor would be around.

What the community has accomplished to create within a TUI is astounding. Equally the amount of work that has gone into plugins. Code completition and debugging support, e.g. for Rust is excellent.

Wanted to try Niri or MangoWM for quite some time. But I'll wait till I replaced my Nvidia with AMD or Intel Arc. When I run into problems I'll report back. On YouTrack there are a few, but not overly many bugs and visual glitches related to Niri listed. No issue which resembles your specific problem. Would open an issue there or try to use another JVM for CLion. Good luck.

I'm using Rustrover for a year now on KDE and I can't observe the performance decrease or the AI craze reported here. Neither have I witnessed any impactful bugs like OP describes. In fact I'd say I haven't seen much bugs at all.

I'm not using the AI/LLM features at all and I can't remember if I disabled them or if that's even possible but when I read here that JetBrains is overly focussed on AI, I'd say that you shouldn't dare to leave your carefully crafted nvim environment and take a peek at what's happening over in the vs-code world as their LLM commitment on a whole 'nother level.

Don't want to diminish what others here experience with their IDEs. Maybe I'm just having the "It works on my machine" syndrome but I would be interested about what OS and specific IDE OP ist using.

Look again. Cox wrote the tweet and shared the image from the guy questioning the hair. Cox is woke as can be. This is another comment from him:

A few of you, I think, read this wrong and have been angrily DMing to let me know women DO have hair. I promise you, I know this. ❤️ I’m just sharing another persons hot take.

Also the tweet is from 2022 and I dearly hope he left the nazi cesspool by now.
