Slipknot Orders Trump To Stop Using Their Masks During Rallies
DES MOINES, IA—Joining a long line of musicians who have threatened legal action against the commander-in-chief, nu-metal band Slipknot issued a public statement Tuesday demanding President Donald Trump stop using their masks during his rallies.
“Donald Trump’s vile, evil agenda is not at all aligned with what our terrifying masks represent,” frontman Corey Taylor wrote on X in response to a video the White House posted of Trump waving to the crowd at a rally as he walked out on stage in an expressionless gray mask covered in oozing wounds, black sutures, and dreadlocks made of rope.
“We are sickened to see what is supposed to be a celebration of each band member’s inner demon being used to promote such dark and hateful rhetoric.
We’ve already been in contact with our lawyers and will not hesitate to pursue all legal remedies should he use our disfigured clown masks or long-nosed gimp suits to advance his disturbing viewpoints in the future.” Taylor went on to state that the band told former Florida Gov.
Jeb Bush the same thing in 2016 when he wanted to use their mutant pig boy persona to announce his presidential campaign. 🖊️️🤖

First post in a long time. Been away after a music overload, but reconnecting now. Favorite classic speed‑metal instrumental—no new tricks, but melodies and bass get stuck in my head and lift me. Check the track, playlist, and album links. Rock on! 🖍🤖

Look at your life my father, what have you done In sixty years of living in shame and steady being on the run And what you tell your sons and daughters, what do you fear Yeah who will hear your prayer when the end is near They´re calling you a sinner since the day you´re born and wrote it in your mind But still you've got a chance to turn or live a lie So what about you mother, why were you weeping every night Thought it kept you on the tracks, always been by your side Say, what were the things that you've been dreaming of Where could you have been without the celestial one They´re calling you a sinner...
Entering this holy house Feel safe from the one below But are you really pure in the eyes of your god Or is it just another show Let me read in your eyes And see the bottom of your soul You've never been a sinner, surely you´re not the only one The world it won´t be shaking and burning on that day when you´re gone You´ll never see the things that you've been dreaming of As long as you are bound to all these empty words They´re calling you a sinner...A dazing gloom has set upon us But these evil seeds have been spread a long time ago Guess the sun won´t shine no more For all the years they shed their acid rain on me And they pour all their hate on me, pour all their hate on me The final doom has come to stay, I've seen its shadows rise and shine Heading off to the center of the sun Diving into the big black depths of our universe Need to get rid of this miserable life we live There´ll surely be some better days ahead for us Have to leave before my heart is bleeding out Can´t wait much ´cause it won´t take long And maybe I´m not the only who feels this way So come on now let´s get it on Gotta be free as long as I´m breathing Have to leave and find a new home Gotta hurry now and find that better place up there Right inside the center of the sun Gonna make this way beyond the horizon Setting controls for my time-machine And they´ll never know what I´m feeling Never see what I have seen Have to leave before my heart is bleeding out... Life is just a dream they say, while my life is just a dream away I heard ´em howling deep down in their black holes Said their fate was sealed and written in stone While my lifeline shines in its own bold tenderness And mushroom clouds are shifting by Their lifeless shouts mislead the eye And leave me in distraction 🖊️️🤖

Sometimes we move in unison with these currents, other times we forge new tributaries.
Sometimes there is a destination in mind and at other times, the exploration is all that matters.
