Her comments come months after her administration intervened -without public notice - in rulemaking started by her predecessor, Republican Glenn Youngkin. In October 2025 Youngkin asked the Virginia Board of Health to “protect and preserve the… public health of women and girls,” by making a rule to limit trans girls' ability to participate in sports and use bathrooms and locker rooms.

“There’s no legal authority to move forward with rulemaking and prior administrations may have tried to create lanes and we’re not doing that,” Gov. Abigail Spanberger said.

No news release was issued when the proposed rulemaking effort was withdrawn, and Radio IQ's reporting is the first on the matter. As for the discretion, those close to Spanberger said the governor didn’t want to, “bring additional fights that some may be really willing to create.”

Always great to see new releases :D Played a bit and encountered a known bug (puzzles having all rows listed as 10, just need to restart puzzle). The sense of style is great. The music is chiptune jazzy, it gives you customization options to earn, and the game seems to have some story progression. Easy recommendation.

I made some off-hand comments on a post on 196 and didn't realize they'd be taken the wrong way. I made a few more comments to help clarify my idea but caught a blanket ban from blahaj.zone with no warning or message.

I'm mortified :( It's never been my goal to make others feel bad online. I had a quibble with the wording on a meme and clumsily worded my idea of "Our differences shouldn't be minimized because they make us special" was seen as transphobia/TERF rhetoric.

But with no prior warnings or even a message from a mod to 'cool it', I got banned from the entire instance. I love these communities (feel free to look at my 2.5 years of comment/post history) and I would like to be able to continue to participate.

So, is there a formalized method of ban appeal beyond messaging mods? Their instance has like 12, so I don't want to spam them and have it seen as harassment.

This artist has a lot of work, but this is the only album in this style, and I absolutely love it. It's a beautiful album start to finish. It reminds me of Dear Esther, a short narrative video game about a man dying alone on an island. This album has the same somber tone, wistful and nostalgic, filled with regret.

I've been listening to this artist for 16 years since his debut as a contributor to Homestuck. He's since spun off to his own career with an incredible collection of albums. This one here is one of my comfort albums; I've listened through it a hundred times. Bowman's lyrics are way better than they have any right to be. While this album doesn't have some of my favorite songs from him, this is his no-skip album of bangers. Give it a shot, let me know what you think!
