Former Auburn officer Jeffrey Nelson was sentenced to 16 years, 8 months in prison for the murder of Jesse Sarey.

"In attendance on Nelson’s side of the courtroom were various family and friends, Auburn Police officers, including Assistant Chief Sam Betz and Cmdr.
