Once more it is proven that money can’t buy you everything. In this case, bragging about reaching the peak of the world.

Well, to be honest, lots of people successfully achieve that very expensive goal, the dead ones are a very tiny minority. So money does buy that almost always.

Every year many people die placidly in their sleep, accidentally poisoned by carbon monoxide. No special injection or elaborate devices, it’s one of the most painless, effective, and cheap options, but people really like to over engineer euthanasia.

This is why the BSDs never really took off. Corporations like Apple took them and made them their own, and stopped contributing proportionally to the profit they made off them.

Linux has the cancer license (in the words of Bill Gates) that had brought more Linux, and any attempt to capture it results in a fork. Copyleft has proved much more resilient than MIT, it forces you give without taking away.

Just last week Altman was saying that a single trip to the market consumes the same energy as like 500 prompts. A fairer comparison would be against tokens, as some people do text prompts while others are generating code, images, or video.

If it was that cheap the subscription would be in the range of a streaming service.

Seeing that the second paragraph is about marketing the person and not discussing the injustice at hand, I find it very upsetting and hard to support. What is a neuroqueer anyway? Are we still inventing new genders in 2026?

Recently I’ve become a fan of glitching your camp underground, you never know what you’ll find. Anyone else has good map spots for those?

I made a camp in Welch that reached invisible water underground, you could literally swim from room to room. I made another near vault 76 that is 6 floors deep, trying to emulate a vault. I’d like to reach places you’re not supposed to be, but I haven’t found anywhere truly interesting that allows camps yet.
