I still remember the CIO and two of his VPs talking openly about the surveys and who each one was, even if the names weren’t on there.

They could tell things like what teams they reported into. A lot of “teams” were 2-3 people or less. They knew each and every one of the surveyors without being told their names.

You learn a lot reporting directly to upper execs. All the discrimination, racism, sexism, anti-worker bullshit…. It is true. At least in my experience, and I come off as openly one of the most progressive people in a work environment. Just imagine what they say and do when I’m not around.

1% per year, like they do to our retirement fund fees.

No one time shit. Drain the ultra wealthy forever. Spend it or lose it. The tax should apply to anyone’s assets valued at over 25m and adjusted yearly to the median wage.

Maybe have it be an extra 2% on everything over 100m.

    No shit?

When haven’t they logged, recorded and stored this data in perpetuity? If not them, some three letter agency or something else.

That’s why any real business conversations happen face to face or over encrypted communications. That way the illegal shit isn’t on the record.

  • I’m surprised nobody has taken all the videos uploaded and threw them into some ML to get gait and other unique identifiers of these guys. Would be real easy to make a perfect map of activities of unique individuals to later use the justice system once it’s out of hostile control.

By building a map of locations it will be possible to subpoena the assignments of whoever was in xyz on abc datetime and figure out just who went too far and then press charges.

Masks don’t hide gait and never will.

Just a matter of time before these guys are supplying ML card manufacturers with slower memory that works well enough for ML use cases at a fraction of the current prices.

Import and trade restrictions exist in some places but if the rest of the world buys the cheaper Chinese stuff that works about the same then the rug will come out from under the current guys and they will literally never recover.

Guessing the short term profits are all worth it to them, like the typical VC.

Sucks. Still my favorite streaming service because of all the high quality science fiction shows and no ad tier.

So far they haven’t cancelled any of the shows I’ve been super excited for either. It’s not like scamazon or netsux where they do a season and it’s awesome but oh, no! It isn’t #1 for a month on launch!… better cancel it.

It’s still just a billionaire owned company though and likely to do what everyone else does eventually. Can’t wait for the next thing to come along and nuke ads again.
