In a democratic event, if they can come to an agreement, they choose what happens without your input.

This is a real problem though. Democracy is a fuck-based system. Uneducated people fuck without protection more ofthen than educated people, which gives them more voting power. Minorities (mental or otherwise) are only protected if the big-fuckers want it, since by design majority wins.
