The only think left as a hint it was every there will be the smell of fresh paint.

Oh man... You just made me imagine what the Oval Office smells like right now. I wonder if the Trump-funk will return when the smell of fresh paint fades away.

He heard from others he chatted with, over the more than three hours he spent waiting to vote, that the snafu had been impacting voters all day.

Snafu? That makes it sound like it's a little oopsy sort of a thing. I guess the original, literal meaning if the word is apt; Situation Normal All Fucked Up. But this is voter suppression. There's no other way to describe it. This is a violation of these people's right to vote. It is a serious crime andt it shouldn't be made light of by calling it a snafu.

While pursuing his state appeal, Trump also has been trying to shift the case to federal court and have it dismissed on immunity grounds. A federal judge said no — for the third time — in August. Trump’s attorneys are appealing that decision, and arguments on that appeal are set for Nov. 16.

Third time? When the fuck will they say no for the last time? How many times can one appeal the same ruling before a judge can say knock it the fuck off, you lost?

Schumer is a effectively a moderate Republican. He has publicly and repeatedly (for nearly 2 decades) said he uses an imaginary couple named Joe and Eileen Bailey, and what they would think if they were real, to decide how to vote in the Senate.

The world was first introduced to the Baileys in Schumer's 2007 book, Positively American: Winning Back the Middle-Class Majority One Family at a Time. According to Oliver, Schumer mentions the swing-voting, middle-class couple an astonishing 265 times in just 264 pages.

"I have conversations with them… one of my staffers once said I had imaginary friends to the press, got me in some trouble," Schumer says in a clip Oliver played.

Schumer describes the couple as Reagan-era Republicans — socially liberal but fiscally conservative. He's offered up intricate details about their fictional lives: their love of Kung Pao chicken, Joe's habit of singing the national anthem at Islanders games, and Eileen's father's chilling run-in with prostate cancer.

Note, the Kung Pao chicken, Islanders games, and prostate cancer are all imaginary! Rather than talking with actual voters, Schumer just makes up imaginary voters pretends to talk to them! Why is this delusional man even in a position of leadership? He literally talks to imaginary 'Reagan Republicans' to decide how to vote. He does not even belong in Congress, let alone in a leadership role.

Edit: For anyone who would like to laugh and or cry about this, here is a youtube link to Jon Oliver's segment about Schumer and his imaginary friends.

A few weeks ago, people were claiming that the Democrats couldn't possibly take the House and Senate. Well they did. We need to stop talking about what isn't possible, and start figuring out how to make this stuff happen.

Thank you but I'd rather not temper my expectations. Trump is a murder, adjudicated rapist, and accused child rapist, on top of myriad other crimes. This blue wave needs to be built upon to hold him accountable for his crimes. No Kings rallies need to continue and every member of the House and Senate who doesn't support the impeachment and removal of this monster needs to feel the heat of those protests. This election is only the beginning of the process.

Any quick convictions would be pardoned by Trump, so investigations will have to do for now until Democratic President takes office.

Not if they impeach his ass. He has ordered the murder of innocent people at sea because, without evidence, he say they're running drugs. His military even murdered two men clinging to the wreckage of their boat by ordering a second attack on them while they were helpless. That is, at minimum, a war crime. So is the double tap strike on an Iranian bridge. American forces blew up the bridge then, an hour later after emergency workers were there to help survivors, fired a second missile.

If these aren't high crimes and misdemeanors then I don't know what is. Yes, Vance is a putz and will probably not be much if any better, but we NEED to hold Trump accountable for his crimes. It is an absolute imperative if this nation is to ever recover from this era.

Congress is fully capable of doing more than one thing at a time. Yes, they need to pass new legislation and work to improve people's lives, but they need to rein in Trump before any new legislation will matter. Trump has spent two years ignoring Congress. He's been withholding funds allocated by Congress and redirecting it to his favored projects. He's even ignored bipartisan legislation such as the order to release the Epstein files. That isn't going to change just because of this election. Trump and his minions need to be prosecuted and forced to acknowledge that they are only one third of the American government.

Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters has dubbed Ed Sheeran a “p****” who has “done the wrong thing” amid the ongoing controversy over Macklemore being pulled as a support act from Sheeran’s tour after expressing solidarity with Palestinians on stage.

For anyone who doesn't want to watch the included video: p**** = prick

    Edit for formatting

2nd Edit: I have just learned that Waters has very publicly supported Putin in the war on Ukraine saying, that Putin governs carefully and makes decisions based on consensus? So it’s pricks all around in this story.

The bureau’s information management division was predominantly tasked with censoring the documents, despite the fact that the unit has not historically been used to scrub documents for publication. So the FBI had to create specialized training videos for the agents, instructing them how to “use an Excel spreadsheet to log Trump’s name, the page number, and the document,” reported Gill.

Even still, Trump was mentioned more than 38,000 times in the initial release of the Epstein files. His name also appeared in an FBI tip sheet listing abuse allegations, including one in which an unknown source accuses Trump of forcing one of Epstein’s victims, presumed to be 13 or 14 years old at the time, to perform oral sex on him “approximately 35 years ago” in New Jersey.

The LA Fire Department said a man and a woman were found deceased inside, approximately 78 and 68 years old

It is unknown at this time if the deceased are Rob Reiner and his wife but the ages are approximately correct. Some news sites are referring to it as a homicide.
