You didn't sway me, but you didn't have to either. I strongly believe having the right mindset is crucial whenever there's any competition to be had. Mindset that takes into account not only the rules of the game but the overall landscape. Failing to ignore that is as bad as if we were to come to a sumo competition being really underweight.

There is one thing that you didn't capture though: what is our edge? What can we do as people that AI won't give us on a silver platter?

That's my 5 cents, happy to hear some answers

+1 from me. People are so happy to boycott projects that are presenting different political views while they don't bat an eye when other projects they back up are similarly political but on the other side of the spectrum.

I agree it'd be best to have apolitical tech initiatives but since people won't be able to have their beliefs to themselves then we just have to agree everyone has the right to have their political opinion tied to the projects that they develop. Sad, but at least honest.

Depends what approach does you/she have.

Persona 3 Portable - if she wants to go from the earliest possible on PC (I wouldn't recommend it though, cause Reload exists) Persona 4 Golden - if she wants to go by date and still have a lot of fun (Remake is already on its way, can wait IMO) Persona 5 Royal - for a modern full-package Persona, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE Persona 3 Reload - to start with remake of the earliest PC-available one

I intentionally skipped first two installments as they are much more retro and not available on PC natively. I'm a huge fan so I'm case you need any help, just let me know 😉

Problem is: non-ethical projects tend to pay more or take advantage of the situation. I know what I mean: when one of my projects fell apart recently I was approached by a "Battlefield Management App" which I could develop, of course for "the good guys"™.

I chose unemployment because that's not the world I want to develop, but I can totally imagine that in a more dire circumstances (I'm in debt with family to take care of or it's war and I'm running out of money fast) my choice could've been different.

Still, ethics would be good, even if it wouldn't magically save the world 💪🏻
