Did you know Australia is home to the world's oldest tropical rainforest!

The Daintree Rainforest, located in Tropical North Queensland about 3 hours north of Cairns, is the oldest tropical rainforest in the world! This relatively small but stunning corner of Australia is estimated to be anywhere from 35 million to 180 million years old, which is at least 10 million years older than the Amazon Rainforest.

The Daintree Rainforest is also special because it's a World Heritage Site. Located just offshore from the Daintree lies the Great Barrier Reef, which is also a World Heritage Site. So when you visit Cape Tribulation in the heart of the Daintree, you're visiting the only place in the world where two World Heritage Sites meet!

Did you know Tasmania has the cleanest air in the world!

More specifically, Cape Grim in northwest Tasmania is said to have the cleanest air in the world. According to the Cape Grim Baseline Air Pollution Station, the strong winds that blow in from the Southern Ocean near Antarctica help keep the air pure and free of pollutants. So take that much-needed "breath of fresh air" to a new level by heading down to Tassie and inhaling the cleanest air on Earth!

Did you know! Around 80% of the wildlife is endemic to Australia, meaning it can only be found here! According to the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, 87% of mammals, 93% of reptiles, 94% of frogs, and 45% of birds in Australia ONLY exist in Australia.

From iconic kangaroos and koalas, to elusive echidnas and wombats, you can see some of the world's most unique wildlife Down Under. Australia is also home to the only mammals that lay eggs: the platypus and the echidna.

I too have Solar & Battery, with an EV landing in October.

    Good man 💪

We wouldn’t be doing this to be “subsidising” individual ICE use, but rather to ensure that industries that can’t readily electrify - such as farms still having diesel for their tractors, harvesters, combines to keep growing our food; for commercial trucks to be able to transport these critical goods across our great wide nation; to keep planes in the air, connecting us to the rest of the world; for national security, ensuring that when hostilities escalate overseas, we will be able to keep the wheels turning.

Yeah I'm saying if we have 12 months worth of fuel reserves for these purposes since the overwhelming majority of cars are EV's what's the point of having our own refining? it's just pouring money down the drain waiting for an exceptional black swan that will likely never come

Also all of those things, from tractors, harvesters, combines etc should be moving towards electric, planes are moving towards Sustainable Aviation Fuel

tbh if the only people still relying on oil in 10-20 years time is planes and some old farm equipment it would surprise me if 90 days of fuel reserves wasn't enough anyway
