This is funny. They’re correct.

Development of PDF began in 1991, when Adobe's co-founder John Warnock wrote a paper for a project then code-named Camelot, in which he proposed the creation of a simplified version of Adobe's PostScript format called Interchange PostScript (IPS).[1] Unlike traditional PostScript, which was tightly focused on rendering print jobs to output devices, IPS would be optimized for displaying pages to any screen and any platform.[1]

If you bought a house for 1 million at lower rates and the price goes up

Only if you chose a fixed rate and only for the term of that fixed rate.

you pay more than the next person who buys an equivalent house for 950k, at the higher rate.

Did you mean to say less? This depends entirely on the rate and timeframe.

It’s still costly, but you pay less.

Again that depends entirely on fixed vs variable, fees, rate and timeframe.

This is not as straightforward as you’re making out, and even then you butchered your own argument.

The biggest issue is people ending up with negative equity and rising unemployment, it will end up with people losing their house and being in debt.

Sounds like his parents and teachers failed to teach him how to make peace with the Magpie.

Also crickets are a healthier snack for Magpies. You can find them in the garden (shocking) but some pet stores also sell them as food for lizards and fish.

My mrs is from Korea and gambling is illegal there so I did the same with $50 when we went to a club.

Five minutes later she couldn’t speak English anymore due to excitement as she’d hit a jackpot. So that backfired lol

Have they tried making music that’s any good? There’s a constant stream of wannabe rappers sounding like absolute fuckwits and not a single memorable tune from the lot.

Pages fourteen and fifteen file genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid under language used to paint Israel and its supporters as evil.

Anyone committing and supporting these acts is clearly evil.

In September 2025 a UN commission of inquiry concluded Israel had committed genocide in Gaza. In July 2024 the International Court of Justice found Israel in breach of the treaty ban on racial segregation and apartheid in the occupied West Bank.

Who am I to doubt the experts?

Threats of violence, the attack on Helen Haines, mental health, social media platforms and security of federal MP’s are all unpacked on this week’s episode of Insiders. David Speers is joined by Niki Savva, Mark Kenny and Greg Brown, and interviews AFP Commissioner Krissy Barrett. Mike Bowers is joined by Eleri Harris for Talking Pictures.

I submit for your judgement, my ban from a History Photos, after the mod (a favourite around here) loses his cool and breaks almost all the sub rules and the instance general guidelines.

Arguably he also breached instance rule 1 against ableist conduct and use of slurs as the history of the word moron is quite troubled - something I've disagreed with @PugJesus@piefed.social on before.

For clarity I do not support any of the states identified by the US as rogue states. Discussing motives and outcomes does not equal support.

    Rules

    1. Be respectful and inclusive.
    2. No harassment, hate speech, or trolling.
    3. Foster a continuous learning environment.
    4. No genocide or atrocity denialism.
    5. Photos MUST be at LEAST 10 years old, and ideally over 20. We appreciate that we are living through events which will become history, but this is ultimately not a comm for news or current affairs, but events which have occurred some time in the past.

The United States is planning to impose a 12.5 per cent tariff on goods from Australia, alleging the country has failed to take action to prevent slavery and forced labour.

Anthony Albanese says any tariff on Australian exports to the US is "unjustified and inconsistent" with the free trade agreements between the two allies.

Former Australian ambassador to the US Joe Hockey says Donald Trump is convinced that tariffs are beneficial to the US.
