Thats not the argument I was making. But whatever, it still seems like you are admitting there is nuance to this even if Anark is wrong. Which was at the end of the day, all I was trying to say

Anark is an idiot who supports what would basically be anarcho-cops, anarcho-bureaucrats, and anarcho-cia. So not surprised he'd support building prisons. Bro's basically just another Vaush. Some influencer larping an anarchist. Screenshot pulled from Constructing the Revolution by Anark. It is on the Anarchist Library.

Oh no! People didn't like you posting unreliable information from the machine most people hate! Who could have seen this coming?!

Dude you're just cutting your nose to spite your face at this point. You stopped using AI cause people complained, but you're doing it in the most petty and pathetic way possible and so people are still complaining. You've accomplished nothing besides becoming a ragebaiting troll.

Either stop posting vague and niche memes that need context, or start putting the context without the use of ai. Ya know, unless you enjoy being a ragebaiting troll.

Considering how much the US relies on undocumented immigrants and prison labor (read slave labor), the US would certainly hurt. There's plenty more stuff to consider as well that would likely add to a collapse, but this is the biggest impact I can think of.

I think people are being way too harsh on this comic. Yeah all of us are the kinda nerd to reuse and upcycle old tech and be a positive kind of nerd. Look at the site you are using guys, I think the nerd demographic might be skewed towards a certain kind here. It is also not saying all nerds, it mentions various ways nerds can be healthy and productive so clearly there are positive ways to be a nerd according to the author. And yeah it is focusing on the toxicity of nerd culture, which I think it is right about. There are nerds who are getting the brand new iphone, or the latest graphics card, or that new smarthome device. They are just a very specific but also very publicly facing and famous kind of nerd. For every Salem Techsperts, think of every Linus Tech Tips. Both are nerds, just different kinds of nerds, and unfortunately we are the minority.

If the comic doesnt describe you, then it isnt talking about you. Its talking about a certain kinda nerd. Should it use a more specific label like techbro? Yeah probably, but while thats true, I think we all also need to stop taking it so personally and recognize it aint talking about us. It is simply asking nerds not to be wasteful and to use our hobbies in a positive way. That is not a bad message.

People don't end up developing parasocial relationships with people online like this cause they got too much love from their parents and have too many friends. Bullying would reinforce the behavior because they will seek ways to cope.

My buddy (@i_hate_bangor on Instagram) commissioned this artwork from @unpleasantplant.bsky.social and I want to make sure the fediverse gets to enjoy this masterpiece, so here it is!

Obviously my title is satirical, just incase anyone had any Poe's Law confusion.

I doubt I'll get an answer here, but I figured it couldn't hurt and maybe it'll get a little activity back up in this community. Me and my partner just got two female rescue rats. They are a tad bit bitey and are working on training them out of it, as well as training them in various other ways. We were womdering what you guys use as a treat for training? We had heard brown rice makes a good one cause its tiny, but theres no good way to save the leftovers. We also heard Gerber puffs for babies, and got some but curious if there were better options yall are aware of.

Will post pics of them later. Their names are Soot and Sushi
