Anark is an idiot who supports what would basically be anarcho-cops, anarcho-bureaucrats, and anarcho-cia. So not surprised he'd support building prisons. Bro's basically just another Vaush.     Is there a reason for improper contextualized excerption? Anark is exposing the need for Intelligence DURING A REVOLUTION, not after.
    Are you seriously opposing the idea of antiauthoritarian action is to be ignorant of what authoritarians are doing‽

    Because power begets power. Once you have a secret police installed, whoever controls the police has the power over everything else, therefore no longer anarchy.

    Because pre-approving a secret police is not anarchist, distrusting everyone in the very society you're trying to build, it's not anarchy, cementing power around policing is not anarchy. Plus, the most important point is this: No revolution is happening right now, so the question is moot.

    Just be honest with yourself and admit you love secret police and become a tankie.

    nowhere in his essay is he promoting a “secret police.” Intelligence is acquisition of enemy knowledge. For revolutions, that is anti-authoritarian action.

    No revolution is happening right now, so the question is moot.

    Seems you're missing a lot of European news.

    Just be honest with yourself and admit you love secret police and become a tankie.

    I have my own problems with Anark, but what he is suggesting here is no different than the methods used by the CNT-FAI and the Makhnovists for intelligence work - except that Anark's version is quite a bit more transparent. You want to call them "idiots" and "larpers," too?

    If you thought that revolutions are waged by holding hands and singing kumbaya then perhaps the business of revolution isn't FOR you.
