I'm a super smeller, and I've trained it well and made myself some party tricks. For example, I can identify a coffee down to the grow region and altitude based on the scent of a fresh cup.

Also I can roll myself up into a little ball and be very compact. I used to date someone with a thing for contortion, I don't think I've really shown it off since.

    Make alts on different homeservers.

    cm0002 is not a bot.

    Don't bait the tankies.

Opinions are like buttholes, we all have them, they all stink.

Have fun, don't be an asshole, it's ok to be wrong, but admit it when you are.

How much work do you want to do?

None - Librelec is already configured for media center usage. Install and use.

Little - Fedora IOT. Set up the system, which has a small core, verify you've got the right drivers, plasma bigscreen, your media apps.

Lots - Arch linux. Same thing, set up the small core (manually), then handle drivers, plasma bigscreen, your media apps.

Lots (But I don't like systemd). Go Void. It's the same as arch (more or less) but you use runit instead of systemd.

Full Control. Go Gentoo. This is probably overkill here unless you've got some kind of restrictions to meet. You know your needs best.

I'm studying psych right now as part of my software development degree plan. Memory is super faulty. Within 24 hours of committing something to memory, almost half of it will be gone. Within a month, nearly all of it will be gone. This gets exacerbated by oversaturation of information since we (humans) can only reliably store around 5-9 things in our short term memory at a time before committing to long term memory, surpassing these limits results in data corruption, confusion, or selective amnesia.

Knowing this, I most like read something about Futo and read something about Omacom getting grants on the same page and my wires got crossed and conflated the two. Is this fact? No, it's presumption based on my limited knowledge of how memory works, but it seems likely.

    Hello Friends :)

I've been re-teaching myself Arduino to brush up on my C/C++ and I've been working on this project for a simple adding machine with two user inputs and a single visual output. I'm not sure what is wrong with my code.

As it stands, the code compiles without error or warning and runs on my Uno R3, but as soon as I press "NumberEntryButton" to begin building the first number, pin 13 immediately flashes 8 times, then stays solid on.

If anyone has advice or help to offer, I'd super appreciate it.

I've attached a permalink to the file in my git repo.

I got a new laptop with active cooling and a dGPU, so I needed to remake my dev environment.

I'm using Sway, my file manager is Yazi, I have jellyfin-tui for music, lunarvim for development and text editing.

This time, I uploaded my dotfiles to my git repo here so hopefully config will be faster in the future.

I hope this screenshot isn't too 'cluttered', I just wanted to show off the environment. Open to suggestions for further customization.

A customized multi-monitor sway window environment. Several terminal windows exist featuring a fastfetch output, some code, jellyfin-tui, htop, and yazi. Each window has a pink 'glow' around it, except for the active window which 'glows' blue. Transparency shows the wallpaper through the windows, it is a periwinkle Arch Linux tooth logo, with a glow effect applied.
