In grade school, I couldn't figure out a homework problem that was due the next day. I called everyone in my town's phone book with my teacher's last name to hunt them down for help.

To my teacher's credit, they did help, but I'm sure that's one of the many reasons why we don't have a public directory of PII anymore.

I cancelled my amazon prime membership when I realized that almost everything I bought I returned because the quality had gone downhill, it wasn't as advertised, or it was an impulse purchase that I regretted as soon as I had it in my hands.

It's been 3 months and I have no regrets. Apparently I missed prime day... I didn't even notice and don't care.

And OP was given credit. Truly a sign of the before times
