I'm fond of baking a pretty simple bread and eating it, too.
It is not a perfect warrior food. It has a longer burn time than animal-flesh/muscle. And when I am doing low energy desk stuff I find a little toasted or crusty bread, coffee, plus fruit/veg grazing works, too.
I still try to eat meat once a day. Once I learned that the world wide average is 2.2 ounces of animal protein PER DAY PER PERSON I started to see that perhaps I didn't need to live so lush and privileged a lifestyle in animal flesh to exist.
But yeah frozen animal muscle is great advancement for humans. I mean it. Like the great Keen said, "If you're feelin' puny and you don't know what to do; Treat yourself to some meat; eat some BBQ"
