doseone and Alias - Fact Colossal

WHY? - By Torpedo or Crohns

Heyoka - Chew

Evil Activities - Unstoppable

Anathallo - The River

The River Empires - Lull of Celeste

Casualties of Cool - Mountaintop

Oliver Francis - DEAD OR ALIVE FREESTYLE

DZK - Torcher

Super Mash Bros - Don’t Bro Me If You Don’t Know Me

Neo - GO GO MONEY (Friday Night Ver.)

Subtle - Midas Gutz

Venetian Snares - Hand Throw

I tried to pick as many of my faves in many different genres as I could that I thought a vast majority of people here would never have heard, with a couple more that might be recognized!

quick edit: replaced I Fucking Bleed Purple and Gold with Don’t Bro Me because I feel like it’s a better intro to Super Mash Bros

another quick edit: seriously everyone go listen to the whole album of Less is Orchestra by doseone and the late Alias, it’s severely underappreciated

Aha! You’ve fallen into my “I wonder if anyone will recognize these artists I love” trap! :3

One band I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing live, and never will :c

Do you have a favorite song? Other than The River, I love “Genessaret (Going Out Over 30,000 Fathoms of Water” and “Hanasakajiji (Four: A Great Wind, More Ash)”! I didn’t know what “The River” was about until legitimately last night, when I was testing a new sound setup and playing some stuff I love for my partner…

I swear this post disappeared and is now back! I was able to see them several times in smaller venues and they were fantastic live. Some if my faves by them have to be ‘Kasa No Hone’ and ‘Dokkoise House’, although that entire Floating World album is grand.

I ended up talking to one of the members I found on LinkedIn of all places. He says they all keep in touch on a group chat still which is cool.
