I've only recently taught myself to just say "fine" and move on at 31. There was a point where, if anyone asked me this question, I'd freeze up like it's the worst thing they could've said.

I hate this question so much. No one actually cares how you are when they ask it. Just say "Good morning/afternoon" and be done with it if that's the case.
