Good. There are some many times I take longer to get places because I don't feel safe biking on the street. And outdoor dining is a much nicer use of space than parking.

Also a good reason to transition to EVs quickly. When they refuse to pedestrianize key streets and outdoor dining has to share with cars, gasoline vehicles are really noisy and smelly

Make it more Amsterdam, as in literally pedestrian- and bike-friendly.

Please tell me outdoor seating won't be placed blocking sidewalks.

My country has restaurants and people selling food from push carts completely blocking pedestrian ways, forcing pedestrians to walk in the street. It's infuriating

Mine has some blocking sidewalks too which is indeed infuriating.

Some, however, are placed in former parking space, which means no space is lost for pedestrians without having to make the sidewalk physically bigger by reworking the former parking lots.
