I’m pretty sure this is illegal, too desecrate a beloved snack like this, shivers.

Which part is the desecration? People keep commenting about the carrots but jalapeno pickled carrots are definitely a thing in Mexico, at least in the northwestern part.

Just messing with ya, like said below, type and lack of cheese, whatever that bottle spread white stuff, no seasoned ground beef, but for a two min drunk snack probably passable.

The pickled carrots are authentic. For me, it's the type and lack of cheese. I don't think anyone should be gatekeeping nachos, though.

I don’t like dairy but I live with someone who does. I’ve never seen sour cream(?) in tube form. But some people drink room temp milk from a bag so what do I know?

In the town my parents grew up in, milk was delivered by a dude with a barrel and ladle. He came around every morning to sell milk for chai. If we wanted milk later in the day, we had to walk over to his shop. Eventually, milk was sold in refrigerated bags once more people started having refrigeration in their homes. But warm milk sounds bleh

That looks like some Minnesota Norwegian frat boys piss poor attempt at nachos. Possibly trying to impress a random girl?

These are NOT nachos. Proper nachos start with a fully round tostada. Schmeer on the refritos about a 1/4” thick. Place the jalapeños and cover with a generous handfull of shredded cheese. Now broil/toast them till the cheese has melted.
    Cut into quarters and plate.
    Nachos!

    You’re Welcome.
