The street in the lead photo looks almost wide enough for four lanes.

Speed cameras and speed humps are the two cheapest (and probably most polarizing) options for traffic calming and they can’t even do that. I bet the fire department and snow removal departments lobbied against the humps.

    The cheapest one is the stop sign. That's why they are everywhere.
