this should probably be marked NSFW
post
Holy shit.
Where is this?
Edit: found the info. Happened on November 1st.
Foorage of a private twin-engine Learjet 60 business jet carrying 9 people crashed into a roadway and residential neighborhood in Greenacres, Florida
Hey can you mark this nsfw?
This is why I don't really listen to the "wear your seatbelt thing" on flights
That plane disintegrated in three frames
Airplane seatbelts aren't for crashes, they're for turbulance. When the plane suddenly drops 20 ft, you want to be attached to it otherwise you're gonna slam into the ceiling and land on someone else.
yeah, the "wear your seatbelt" thing isn't for when you nosedive to your death. It's for when you're sitting there eating your shitty snack and the plane hits unexpected turbulence and drops 700 ft in 2 seconds while your face doesn't until it gets hit with the ceiling of an airplane.
I see two grey cars with the lights on, does anyone know if their drivers have been involved in the accident?
This was really sad. I heard a little bit of the voice recorder. The situation went from moderately bad to mayday to catastrophy in less than 60 seconds.
Here's my understanding of what they believe happened: They appear to have flown directly into a thunderstorm which caused ice to build up very rapidly. That ice buildup caused a loss of control which caused the plane to bank hard to one side, most likely stall, then spiral straight down.
The sheer terror everyone must have felt in their final moments is what haunts me.
Man. Something on the side of that road got 911ed to fuck
This was miles from Mar-A-Lago where anti-air systems were installed recently.
Are you implying that (you think) mar a lago shot this plane down?
I am implying that is a possibility. Some systems have auto lock on and fire on unidentified threats if they forgot to turn that off.
Or a bird flew into an engine.
Well you're miles off the mark.
Control surface icing.
Numerous sources already, check out VASaviation or Mentour Pilot on youtube, it looks like they flew through a rapidly growing thunderstorm and encountered extreme icing conditions. That will rapidly destroy the aerodynamics of an aircraft, and their subsequent stall and overspeed condition is a completely plausible outcome of such a situation.
Thanks, that sounds plausible. I only saw two news articles where the cause of the crash was said to be unknown.
You saw two news articles and starting spreading the conspiracy theory that the plane was shot down by Mar-a-Lago?
No I saw the military buildup around Mar A Lago and the articles saying there was no info on the crash. Keep your worthless opinion to yourself you are insufferable.
That’s incredibly stupid of you to believe, sorry to say
This type of incident has happened many times before even recently. You are incredibly ignorant.
