The threat is the latest of Trump's wide-ranging efforts to undermine democratic processes ahead of the midterms.

He's going to persecute, not prosecute. His cult have killed for him before and they'll do it again.

Looking through the article I don't see anything being "shut down". A judge told them to do something, which has historically been ineffective with this admin. Who's going to jail if they keep doing it? No one? Guess what...

It means that any further harassment can be effectively ignored.

While I still believe there are a lot of people that need to be jailed, this is not an instance where that was the intent behind the ruling.

I don't think it does. The DOJ can continue to harass them. And possibly press charges. What will this judge do?

Press charges? The court already ruled that won't fly.

They can TRY. It won't mean anything...

They may continue to harass. They probably will. But it'll be empty.

Oh look, they did it again already.

It's not empty when you're the one receiving threats from the federal government.

Can't tell if you're joking or not, that article came out the day before the OP and is interrelated.

I'm not advocating for these activities. I'm pointing out that they have no teeth.

I think panic isn't helpful. Solidarity is.

It means nothing unless the courts enforce it…

He's just going to do it anyway.

I mean… the judge told them to stop doing it. But I honest don’t have much faith that they will stop doing it, because ignoring court orders is kind of SOP for the regime.
