Ride a bicycle, walk, get around on a steam train or a sailboat, an electric bus or just stay at home. Whatever. Triple the price of diesel and petrol today, make them completely unavailable tomorrow.

Special arrangements will need to be made for agriculture, yes. But not for personal ownership of passenger cars, which we'd be collectively better off without.
