I mean, what would happen to it after it hit the ground. Would it get eaten by an animal, bacteria, or fungi? Would it just dry out, degrade in the sun, and become dirt?

What happens to a snot rocketed?

Does it dry up

like a raisin in the sun?

Or fester like a sore—

And then run?

Does it stink like rotten meat?

Or crust and sugar over—

like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags

like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

(with apologies to Langston Hughes)

Ants are pretty into that shit, especially if you're diabetic

Grass says "Yummy". Just need a bit of rainwater to thin it out some. Grass is patient.

Multiple things. And depending on where it landed, all of your suggestions are realistic.
