US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Wednesday elicited instant ridicule after he unveiled a new plan to offer military personnel testosterone injections.

In a video announcement, Hegseth said he was authorizing a screening program to ensure US soldiers “have the right testosterone levels” to perform at their “absolute best.”

This isn’t gender affirming care, it’s gender coercive care. Forcing people without symptoms to get a test for low testosterone is clearly pressuring people to “fix” their T levels, regardless of whether that makes sense for them. If it was about health they’d let their doctors address it on an as needed basis.

Thank you for putting to words the reason why I felt it's not correct and harmful to the trans community with the "gender affirming care". It's technically correct, but it's using trans people as a bludgeon

I mean, imagine how much this will fuck up someone's mind? You're all happy and gay going about your killing business and then they tell you you're not enough of a macho man, low T, need injection to be manly?

With how fragile some of these folk are, this is gonna be a clusterfuck

That's a good point. As though "maleness" was directly related to testosterone levels. I wonder if they'll do the same thing for female troups, but I doubt Hegseth is even aware of them.

This is not some gotcha like the media wants us to believe. This is a calculated maneuver; another fuck you to the community that they continually kick while they are down.

Rather than offer water to a tiny sliver of military personnel, Hegseth will dump 10-fold the amount of water down the drain—staring at us while doing so.

They want us to call them hypocritical, bumbling buffoons, a dog chasing a car.

    Another distraction.

HRT is good as long as it's to create an army of T'd up cis freaks.

No E for women, no T for trans men. Only for nazis.

wait. he wants to put soldiers on steroids! I worked in a lab that made blood diagnostics for testosterone. It was kept in double locked freezer/refrigerator so two people had to unlock it and all testing had to have two people unlike other assay teams. I mean alot of work could be done alone but if you were use actual testosterone it required two.

Lol! Can you just imagine all those big, burly Marines marching around with their juicy man-boobs and fat swollen ankles?

I could be wrong but I don't think steroids really builds rucking physique. Excess muscle mass means more weight to carry and higher caloric needs.

I’m no expert but I think the soviets used testosterone in their distance running athletes and found it very helpful. It is banned in cycling and other cardio-centric sports where additional mass is not helpful so I’d wager it does something beneficial. I could be wrong though as I’m relying on a documentary I watched like 20 years ago.

Marathons are not rucking. Rucking you're carrying 60lbs of gear over uneven terrain.

Long distance running you basically expend your entire glucose supply mid run. I just don't think it's straight line comparable to rucking where you have to maintain glucose levels in your muscles.

The more dickheads like Hegseth try and pass as manly men, the weaker and more pathetic they look.
